Over 30 years of service...

Noonan’s There & Back Travel has been serving Melbourne travellers since 1978.

As an independent, locally owned business, we pride ourselves on providing personalised service which is focused on developing an itinerary  that is just right for you rather than simply offering you a package made for someone else. We take the time to understand your needs and tailor an experience to meet those needs.

Plus you have the peace of mind dealing with a licensed travel agent who stands behind the promises we make.

While Noonan’s is proudly independent we are also a member of the Australian Travel Agents Co-operative – one of Australia’s premier travel buying groups. So we have independence and buying power. The best of both worlds really!

Please call us on (03) 9568 4855 or drop in to see us at Suite 510/12-14 Claremont Street, South Yarra. We love to talk travel!

We look forward to showing you that new worlds do truly await....
Cheers, Ken Morgan - Owner

An Award Winning Business

Noonan's has been twice voted Leader Newspapers' Travel Agency of the Year for Glen Eira and Port Phillip, as well as Jetset Travelworld's Australian Affiliate Office of the Year.

We are proud members of:

Here’s 7 reasons why dealing with a travel agent and in particular the team at Noonan’s can give you peace of mind and avoid nagging doubts you may have about dealing on-line.

1. More than a website

As a licensed travel agent we must satisfy rigorous financial and good character checking processes plus complete a full annual audit.

2. Careful with your money

All client funds are placed into our Trust Account and only when you are ready to confirm your bookings do we transfer funds and pay suppliers. You are always issued with comprehensive documentation including detailed itineraries and receipts for all monies paid.

3. Stand behind our products

We only deal with reputable wholesalers and suppliers who insist on high quality and excellent service from providers on the ground. This especially means that there is no “dancing with the stars” – 4 star means 4 star.

4. Our people

Our team is well trained, knows the world and is passionate about what they do. Our aim is to provide you with a fantastic travel experience from the time you first make contact with us to the time you arrive home.

5. Help when you need it most

Recent natural disasters have led to significant disruption to flight schedules and travel plans. If your travel is booked through Noonan’s, we can directly access airline reservations systems and liaise with other suppliers to get your trip back on track rather than you spending hours on the phone or on-line.

6. An Award Winning Business

Noonan's has been twice voted Leader Newspapers' Travel Agency of the Year (Glen Eira and Port Phillip),as well as Jetset Travelworld's Australian Affiliate Office of the Year.

7. Buying power

While we are locally owned and proudly independent, we are also a member of the Australian Travel Agents Co-operative (ATAC). This gives us access to excellent buying power while still maintaining our independence.

Ken Morgan

Owner & Manager of Noonan's Travel. “The thing I love most about travelling is simply wandering around and taking in the smells (not always perfumed), sounds and sights of new places. I love my food (and a refreshment) so I always seek out what’s local, busy and authentic. Blend in and watch the world go by. Love the local markets too. What a great way to get to know a new country.
I’m born and bred in Melbourne so no time living in exotic offshore cities....yet.

Many of our existing clients travel solo (or would like to do more) and we continually found that whilethe industry provides a huge range of options forcouples and families, choices for solos were very limited and often expensive.

So we wanted to do something about it and created Two's a Crowd - a new arm of Noonan's which focuses 100% on the needs of solo travellers who are 35 years and over.

Two's a Crowd puts together great travel options for solos such as small group tours exclusive to Two’s a Crowdclients and deals for solos who want to travel independently. The biggest focus for us is to minimise single supplements and make travel more affordable and accessible for solos everywhere. Currently  these supplements can mean solos pay up to  double the twin share rate. Check out the Two's a Crowd website for more information.

If you love cruising or you would like to get your sea legs for the first time, Noonan's is the place for you. As we are also a Worldwide Cruise Centre you can rely on us to have access to a huge range of cruise packages and specials to suit all budgets and destinations.

Cruise durations range from as little as a week right up to six months or even longer. Families are now well catered for too with lots of great on-board activities and kids clubs to keep even the most active junior sailor fully occupied. In fact according to a recent survey, 30% of cruise passengers are now families.

Cruising costs generally include all on-board accommodation meals, entertainment, on-board activities and even many shore excursions.

In between visiting fantastic places, there are lots of great on-board activities ranging from Broadway-style shows, cooking classes, sports, pampering in the spa, exercise classes and cinema through to comedy shows, live bands or just lounging around the pool with a cocktail and a good book.

New cruise liners and package options are being launched all the time, so talk to the Noonan’s Travel team about the cruise that is just right for you.

With some of the specials we are seeing these days, it's sometimes more expensive to stay home than go cruising! So check out our latest cruise specials and get on board.....
